                                Business Development Sales Representative

The Business Development Sales Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new sales opportunities. As the frontline of our sales process, BDRs are focused on generating pipeline growth by prospecting new accounts and advancing existing opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

- Prospect for new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, social media, trade shows, and other lead generation activities. 

- Qualify new leads and opportunities to determine fit, budget, timeline, key decision makers, and overall viability.

- Manage and nurture prospects through the sales funnel using automated campaigns and one-to-one selling techniques.

- Book meetings between prospects and account executives to advance opportunities toward a close. 

- Maintain up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in CRM (Salesforce).

- Conduct market research to identify new lead sources and opportunities.

- Achieve monthly quotas and metrics around calls made, emails sent, opportunities created, meetings booked, etc.

- Represent company brand and solutions at industry events and trade shows.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in prospecting/lead generation role.

- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce ideal).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales tools. 

- Self-motivated with strong time management abilities. 

- Persistent follow-up approach and ability to turn cold calls into opportunities.

- Ability to learn and convey product/service details.

- Experience using social media platforms for lead generation.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.

The ideal BDR will have a consultative approach to prospecting, passion for sales, and the drive to exceed quota. This role requires outbound focus, discipline, creativity, and a high-energy approach to reaching potential customers.


Salary: $55,000 - 75,000 DOE, plus commission.
